Acceptable Usage Policy

Rules and compliance guidelines for utilizing Digisoft Services cloud systems and network infrastructure.

This Acceptable Usage Policy (AUP) governs the use of Tally on Cloud hosting, cloud backup servers, database systems, and associated communication platforms provided by Digisoft Services. By using these systems, you and your employees agree to maintain standard operational security and compliance.

1. Account Security and User Obligations

  • Users are responsible for safeguarding login credentials, password profiles, and remote desk connection keys. Sharing credentials between multiple employees is highly discouraged; individual user accounts should be configured.
  • Users must immediately report any suspected credential leaks, unusual security popups, or unauthorized file uploads to our Support Team.

2. Prohibited Uses of Cloud Infrastructure

Digisoft Services cloud instances are optimized exclusively for business accounting, ERP management, TallyPrime operations, and official document storage. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Running crypto-mining tools, file-sharing nodes, video rendering networks, or public proxy services.
  • Uploading, compiling, or executing malicious scripts, malware, cracking keygens, or viruses onto the virtual cloud drive.
  • Attempting unauthorized port-scanning, vulnerability testing, or performance stress tests on Digisoft network clusters.
  • Hosting, transmitting, or distributing content that violates national and international intellectual property, safety, or legal regulations.

3. Resource Utilization Boundaries

To ensure consistent server performance and high availability for all hosted businesses, users must respect resource utilization guidelines. Repeatedly running non-essential third-party automation tools that overload CPU cores or flood network bandwidth may result in temporary account throttling or configuration adjustments.

4. Enforcement & Account Suspension

Digisoft Services monitors overall server health metrics and security parameters. If we detect violations of this AUP, we reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate the offending virtual server instance without prior notice to preserve overall server environment safety.
